Getting into fights in Mafia Wars can be devastating to your family if you are beaten up, but it can also give you great rewards if you win. It’s no fun losing a fight and getting robbed at the same time, so you need to do everything you can to ensure you win every fight you get into.

Before you get into a fight, you should research your opponent before you attack them. To do this, just follow these 5 simple tips.

Tip 1: attack players with either the same size or a smaller Mafia as you. This is a no brainer. If your opponent has a smaller Mafia then you, you will obviously have a greater advantage over them with more members and more weapons.

Tip 2: attack players that have completed the same amount of jobs as you. Have a look at the number of jobs they have completed, which will indicate to you how strong and experienced they are. The higher the amount of jobs they have completed, the stronger their attack and defense will be.

Tip 3: attack players with a high loss to win ratio. Check out how many wins and losses your opponent has had in their fights, if they have a higher loss to win ratio, your chances of winning are significantly increased.

Tip 4: attack players that don’t have stronger weapons than you. Look at their weapons arsenal to see how many stronger weapons they have. If they have a lot of stronger weapons than you, stay away from them. If you have more stronger weapons than them, go for it.

Tip 5: if you want to rob your opponent as well, take a look at the properties they own to see how much you can actually take from them. Winning attacks will always earn you experience points without having to rob your opponent, but you can always take some money off of them anyway.

When you’ve found an opponent that you know you can beat then attack them. If you end up losing the fight, just move on to someone else. But if you do beat them up, as you should, then take full advantage of them and continue to attack them until you run out of stamina. If you’re still attacking the same opponent, but have run out of health points, you can earn more health points then continue attacking them. To do this keep the attack window open, and open a new window or tab in your browser so you can restore your health. Once your health and stamina has been restored, go back to the attack window and continue attacking them until you get bored or you lose.

After your attacks, create a list of the players you have attacked and beaten. With this you can always go back to the same players and attack them again, and probably beat them again. To do this just copy and paste the link location of the player into a document, and just paste the same link into browser when you want to attack them again.

Be careful with this strategy of repeatedly attacking the same player though. Sometimes they will seek revenge by either attacking you once they’ve grown a stronger family, or even put you on a hit list and get stronger Mafia families to attack you for them. So take advantage of your rivals, but be aware of any revenge attacks that might come your way.
